Gorewada is one of a kind Zoo in Central India. This is a great place for a short escape. With over 7 leopards, 6-7 bears, deer, peacocks, tigers, and a lot of other animals, the gorewada safari gives you an amazing experience.
Very nice place to spend few hours with family.. It's kind of Zoo-Reserve, where animals can be seen closely in their habitat.. Very big, good parking space, clean, regular buses, animal sculptures, garden and ultimate weather were positives for me during the visit. There are four Safaris. Leopard, Herbivores, Sloth bear and Tiger where except bear, we have seen rest three. Zoo tickets may be booked online from its website for ease during the visit as I have seen many persons returning due to non-availability of the tickets on the counter.
Nice concept of having Human in cage and Animals roaming freely. So you can enjoy the animals in their natural habitat. As of now only Indian safari & Jungle Drive has started which have 4 sections of Leopard, Sloth bear, Herbivore and Tiger but Gorewada Zoo is still worth a visit.
